PROHIBITION IS NOT THE WAY TO CONTROL DRUGS
YOU SAID that "a crack house is no speakeasy." You are correct. Crack
cocaine has not killed nearly as many people as the bathtub gin, or wood
alcohol so often sold in the speakeasies decades ago.
Prohibition leads to nothing but crime, and impure or lethal drugs and
death. A drug is a drug, and prohibition is not the way to control any of them.
