DRUG PROHIBITION FUELS MURDER
Dear editor:
Alan and Eleanor Randell's claim that, (Drugs provide a scapegoat, Sept. 3,
Chatham This Week) "banning a drug always gives rise to more crime", may be
correct and is illustrated with statistics showing the highest murder rates
in the last century occur during the original prohibition and now the sequel.
All available information adds credibility to Canada's efforts to bring
credible drug law reform.
