DRUG USERS BANNED FROM CITY HALL

CITY HALL Is Off Limits To Drug Users.

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Trenas last week read the riot act against city
employees who are using drugs.

"I don't want any one working in the City Government to use illegal drugs," he
declared.

So far, there has been no report of City Hall employees involved in narcotics.

Trenas said he approves of drug tests for City Hall employees but "subject to
availability of funds."

Earlier, he said City Hall employees might not have to undergo drug tests
because of the high costs involved.

Later, taking his cue from the move of the Provincial Government, he said that
City Hall might just have to purchase drug test kits.

The City Health Office will conduct the tests.
