POT LAW UNJUST
The resigned stance adopted by The Gazette on the issue of a proposed
pot cafe and marijuana laws in general is strange (Editorial, Sept.
10, "Police must enforce pot law for now").
There is a reason activism is rising and courts are overturning the
convictions for marijuana possession. Quebec's outspoken attitude is
against the grain of its public opinion. "The law is the law" doesn't
fly when the law is unjust.
