RIGHT ISN'T RIGHT
Isn't it interesting how conservatives (like the bozo who is the drug czar
in the United States) always object to trying anything new, or things that
work successfully in other countries?
They always talk about supply and demand, that is how prices are set, etc.
So what do the geniuses do about drugs? They try to eliminate the source
and spend billions on destroying suppliers. The suppliers move to another
country and the drug problem increases. They don't consider trying to help
the millions of people with a drug addiction?
Much like the way they try to handle prostitution. Arrest a bunch of people
in an area, so they move to another area.
If free clinics are working in other countries, to reduce the drug
addiction-including the Scandinavia, Switzerland and Australia-why not try
it here? Because the right wing conservatives never accept new ideas, even
when their attempts to reduce a problem fails.
It is much like the Campbell conservatives-photo radar works in reducing
deaths, injuries and costs by reducing the number of accidents. This has
been proven in a number of other jurisdictions.
