PROHIBITION IS THE SOIL IN WHICH ROTTEN BUSHES GROW
Re "'This is all I can do'" (June 17): If we gave out free drugs at
the clinics (clean pharmaceuticals, not street crack), street kids
wouldn't have to whore for money.
Sure, we'd still have addicts, but they would be slaves to the clinic,
not slaves to the dealers and johns.
Thank prohibition of drugs and prostitution for these problems.
Prohibition is the soil in which these rotten bushes grow, and we are
reaping as we have sown.

(Many would argue making street kids slaves to the clinic doesn't
solve their root problems)
