A DISAPPOINTED CITIZEN
This is in response to the Sept. 14 front page article in regard to Judge
Gilbert.
As a mother and a grandmother, I believe this decision is confusing and
contradictory to pre-teens, teen-agers, young adults, old adults and, in fact,
every private citizen.
How can this happen, when since June, the Supreme Court has not settled a
judicial misconduct charge? When Judge Haley indicated he has heard nada, zero,
this should be unacceptable.
Just out of curiosity, what would a private citizen be charged with, whatever
age, if he was caught smoking marijuana at a public event? What would the
punishment be? Aren't adults and judges supposed to show good, legal examples
for everyone?
I am hoping you are swamped with disappointed citizens.
