HERE'S WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT: SAFE INJECTION SITES

As a concerned parent of a 16-year-old with a serious addiction problem, I am
not in favour of the safe injection site. Nor do I think it is safe. Who
monitors what they put in their arms?

The money would be better spent on rehabilitation for the young.

I have been trying to get help for my son for two years. I have had zero
success.

The standard reply is until he ODs (which is unlikely with marijuana) or hurts
someone or tries suicide, they cannot intervene.

If he is willing to sign himself into rehab (one facility in B.C.), he could be
put on a waiting list.

Our money would be better spent on drug prevention, before we open more "safe"
injection sites.
