HERE'S WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT: SAFE INJECTION SITES

I have been reading the news about the events related to the Vancouver
safe-injection site -- the first in North America.

I have first-hand knowledge that these facilities work for public order and
public health concerns because of my experience in Barcelona's safe-injection
site at Can Tunis and my knowledge of the ones at Madrid and in other European
cities.

Although such facilities are not the definitive solution for drug-related
problems, I congratulate Canadians for launching a harm-reduction initiative
that will have better results than the "war on drugs" strategies and policies.

Bravo, Canada!
