SUPPORTING THE SFCIA

My family relocated to Sneads Ferry two years ago. Since moving here, we
have been reminded that all communities are battling many of the same
problems. My opinion is that the strength to fight these problems lies
within the people and their communities.

I am pleased to say this is a community that is willing to band together to
make a safe, happy and healthy place for all to live. The implementation of
the SFCIA (Sneads Ferry Citizens in Action) is an example of concerned
citizens taking action to foster and promote a drug free community.

The war against drugs is not going to be won soley by local law enforcement
officials. It will need to be fought in our living rooms, in our schools
and by community members becoming actively involved. The shared desire and
active participation of the people in Sneads Ferry to see their community
become drug free will create the positive change we all want to see.
