KEEP EYES OPEN FOR DATE-RAPE DRUG

Dear sir:

A group of 15 went to the Def Leppard concert last Saturday and afterward we
decided to have a few drinks and play pool in a local P.G. pub. We ordered
drinks and because we didn't have a table, had them in our hands the whole
time. My girlfriend and I both ordered caesars, but she couldn't finish hers as
it was too spicy. She went and bought another drink and gave her spicy caesar
to me to finish.

After finishing the ceasar we were standing around chatting when all of a
sudden I felt terrible. My entire body heated up and like a rush of heat was
sweating within seconds, I felt like I was going to pass out. I told my friend
to follow me to the bathroom as I was going to need help. I rushed off through
the pub and didn't even make it 10 steps and my vision was completely blacked
out I could only vaguely see where I was going and my hearing had blurred. It
felt like I was undergoing anesthetic and couldn't stop it.

I made it to the bathroom and sat down trying to fight whatever was happening
to me. I was sweating, felt like I was going to throw up it felt like a really
bad flu. It wasn't seconds behind me that my girlfriend was right behind me in
the exact same shape I was in. Both of us slipping in and out of consiousness.
Our friends quickly got us out of the bathroom and into a van to head to the
hospital.

The hospital had heard of this type of thing happen in P.G. before. Although no
urine or blood test can prove it, they said I had symptoms of the date-rape
drug called GHB (Gamma hydroxybutyrate).

I can't stress enough how easily this kind of thing can happen. Many times I
had heard not to accept drinks from others, don't drink out of punch bowls and
never leave your drink unattended. But it can still happen. We never set our
drinks down once. Please be aware, there are predators in your area and it can
happen very quickly. Even though we were fortunate to come out safely, the next
person might not be so lucky.
