JIM ANDERTON AND THE EVIL OF DRUGS

I was amused to hear Jim Anderton talking about ridding New Zealand of the
evil of methamphetamine drugs. So Jim is going to succeed where other
countries have failed. Jim is going to do this by trying exactly the same
tactics that other countries have attempted. Jim is going to use our tax
dollars to repeat the mistakes of history and achieve a zero result.

We live by the law of supply and demand, and statistics from other
countries will tell you that the more you try to ban drugs, the more demand
you create.

P is not going to destroy New Zealand society. For every P-related crime, I
can show you 100 that are alcohol-related. For every P addiction, I'll show
you five gambling addicts. For every P death I'll show you several that are
a result of our Government's social policies.
