FREEDOM, JUSTICE, LIBERTY, ETC.

Thanks for publishing Steve Kubby's outstanding letter, Expect more
reefer refugees (Sept. 28).

Our forefathers came to America from Europe to seek personal freedoms
not available in Europe. Today, Americans are going to Canada to seek
personal freedoms no longer available in the United States. Today, the
words "freedom," "justice" and "liberty" are just empty words on U.S.
monuments and currency. Today, Canada is a beacon of light of personal
liberty in a sea of darkness for Americans.
