TEACHER SENTENCED FOR GIVING STUDENTS POT
A dance teacher was sentenced Friday to a three-year deferred judgment for
supplying marijuana to several students at a sleep-over party in February.
Kristi Peterson, 25, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a
minor and dispensing marijuana to a 14-year-old.
She pleaded guilty to felony possession of marijuana.
The deferred judgment means the charge will be removed from her record if
she stays out of trouble for the three-year probation period.
District Judge Sheila Rappaport also ordered Peterson to undergo drug
treatment.
