PROHIBITION HURTS
Editor:
Regarding the story: Drug laws protect the rest of us.
Drug laws don't protect people, police do.
Ask the RCMP when they'll arrest the only drug dealer left in Canada. Ask
Health Minister Anne McLellan when she'll rehabilitate the last drug user.
Ask your kid if they know where you can get some pot.
Prohibition is doing more harm than good, cops are waging a futile battle
with a public health matter. Victims are left undefended, while the laws
allow terrorists and criminals to profit from our otherwise harmless habits.
Labatt Brewing has no plans to blow up monuments. They're more likely to
build some. And the greatest irony is that taxpayers are paying for this fraud.
