FOLLY OF JAILING
The mother of Luke Masters and her son's jailer Dick Wallace, have one
thing in common - they are both product's of this country's education
system, (Northern Territory News, October 4).
The difference is that the former is ignorant of the well-established fact,
contrary to what she believes, prison does not "rehabilitate" anybody.
This is why history will judge Dick and others like him in a very poor
light - he does know that without question, jail bends minds, it does not
mend them.
