QUESTIONING POLICY

Before I take your advice and urge the B.C. provincial government to
create a new law like one in Alberta that allows the government to
seize children found living in homes with cannabis growing operations,
I would like some answers.

Regarding fire hazards, will the police also seize children from homes
with wood-burning appliances that are not regularly cleaned and maintained?

Do grow ops cause more fires than cigarettes?

With respect to mould and mildew, will the police kick in the doors of
homes with leaky foundations?

What about homes never tested for radon?

Regarding exposing children to pesticides and fertilizers, will the
province also take custody of children raised on family farms?

Given that cannabis prohibition is ineffective, if not
counter-productive, would it not make more sense to legalize, tax and
regulate the cannabis trade?
