NO SYMPATHY FOR LIMBAUGH
Re: Limbaugh the man wasn't voice on air by Charles Adler (Oct. 14).
That's all very nice writing about the character of Rush Limbaugh. I don't
care about the private man too much. Any more than he cared about the
private lives of those he heaped scorn on over and over.
His view on drug addicts was that they should all be removed from society.
He didn't differentiate about whether they were on dope or painkillers. He
just wanted the streets cleaned up and he didn't care what happened to the
addicts.
It is the height of hypocrisy to now feel sympathy for him when he felt none
toward drug addicts. His acts are worse because he apparently was purchasing
drugs illegally.
His viewpoint publicly was always strong and clear -- let him be judged by
his own standards.
