PARENTS FACE DRUGS BAN
PARENTS with serious drug problems would be made to undergo rehabilitation
or be separated from their children under legislation proposed by a South
Australian Independent MP yesterday.
Independent State Upper House MP Nick Xenophon said reforms were needed
because authorities were not adequately dealing with the children of
drug-addicted parents.
He expected to release a draft Bill next week and to introduce it to
Parliament later this year.
