DEPENDENCE VS. DESIRE
TO THE EDITOR: Regarding "Rush to Judgment; What to make of Limbaugh's
addiction?" (Our Views, Oct. 16): Those on the left who are making such a
big deal of this would do well to recognize that a lot of the people they
hero-worship -- Hollywood stars, musicians, sports figures, etc. -- have
been involved in the same kind of thing. There's a big difference between
doing things to cure medical problems and doing them for recreation.
