GOP TICKET TO FIGHT DRUGS

Since Ben Chandler has been Kentucky's top law-enforcement official,
our state's drug problems have grown. There has been no vision or
leadership coming from the attorney general's office on this issue.

Ernie Fletcher and his running mate, former U.S. Attorney Steve Pence,
can do something about Kentucky's staggering drug problems. Pence is a
law enforcement official who has produced results, as he was a
prosecutor during the BOPTROT scandal in Frankfort and was appointed
by President Bush.

We need people in office who can get results. Fletcher and Pence have
a record of delivering for the people. Chandler has a record of
holding office and doing more to promote himself than doing anything
about Kentucky's real problems.

It's high time that we had a change in Frankfort to stop the "politics
as usual" cycle and get on with solving Kentucky's growing problems.
