GOING AFTER POT AVOIDS GOING AFTER REAL PROBLEM

The recent multiagency sweep targeting street dealers was called "A top
concern of the public" (The Maui News, Oct. 21). I thought our ice problem
was the top concern.

This is a good example of the reason we will continue to have a ice epidemic
on Maui. The local police and feds are wasting time arresting a few street
dealers for selling marijuana (real and fake) instead of using their
resources to go after the real problem in Hawaii that is destroying families
every day!
