THE WAR ON DRUGS IS RUINING THE WAR ON TERRORISM

In the fight against terrorism, George W. Bush has taken away rights and
now large amounts of money, and neither will be enough to stop terrorism.
Because of our archaic drug laws, the terrorists will continue to be funded
by the United States government. Because our drug laws drive up the price
of drugs, the terrorists make money to fight us. Because of our drug laws,
the United States is the largest financial backer of the terrorists. But
the government will continue to ask the people for more money, money needed
much more elsewhere.

We have two choices to win the war on terrorism. We may change our drug
laws, which the terrorists love. Or we may have the heroin and cocaine
users go on strike until the war is won, which will never happen.

The war on terrorism is a new kind of war, and we need to get rid of old
laws so we can win the war.
