COMING CLEAN ON HIS ADDICTION
Rush Limbaugh has demanded long prison sentences for drug users.
OxyContin is Limbaugh's drug of choice and is the legal and chemical
equivalent of heroin. Rush allegedly obtained as many as 4,350 illegal
pills in 47 days, and his appetite for this drug caught up with him.
Americans should give this spokesman for conservative philosophy
another shot at rehab. And while they're at it, also free and treat
the 60 percent of the 2 million prison inmates incarcerated for
federal drug offenses. Most of them are black and Hispanic. Let them
out, treat them and get them jobs. Then go to work on our kids with
lessons on the evils of drug addiction.
