YOU EMPLOY HIM

I have heard enough about the male in jail for drug offenses. He cried he
would rather do community service or go into the military rather than sit
in jail. You had the lady write in saying that it would be a shame to force
this young criminal into the military, and Circle K selling alcohol and
tobacco were worse than his drug possession.

You have a male writing in for putting them into the armed forces, stop
already.

First of all, having a history of drug use, let alone convictions will stop
you from being allowed into the military. We discharge the users we find in
the service. Second, convenience stores sell alcohol and tobacco products,
but these are legal items in this country where as drugs such as your
jailbird had are not, or else why is he incarcerated?

Last, the laws are just fine for narcotics violations and trust me when I
say that volunteer members of our armed forces do not need to be burdened
with people running from jail time.

If you are so concerned about this young man then offer him a job at your
company.
