LOVE'S DRUG CASE SEEMS TO SHOW DOUBLE STANDARD
I see that another "personality" has been charged with illegally possessing
painkillers ("Love charged with having drugs illegally," Oct. 30). Somehow,
I have missed reading about any charges filed by local law-enforcement
agencies against Rush Limbaugh, who had almost 4,000 "illegally possessed
painkillers."
Does this mean that local law-enforcement agencies are more lenient? Or
does it have something to do with his being a rich, Palm Beach-dwelling
Republican? Is that what it takes to escape charges for illegal drug
possession?
