PARTNERS KEEP PUTTING

Hit the links next Wednesday at Putt 4 Peel's glow-in-the-dark mini-golf
tournament to have fun and help keep Mississauga children off drugs.

The 14th annual event takes place at Oakville's Putting Edge. Entry fee for
the 18-hole tournament is $100 for a team of four. A corporate sponsorship,
that includes a team entry and status as an official sponsor, is $400. For

Money raised from the tournament, which begins at 6 p.m., will go to Peel
Partners For A Drug-Free Community who, in turn, will use the money for
drug education programs.

Up for grabs this year are two platinum tickets to see the high-flying
Toronto Raptors, box seats for the surging Mississauga IceDogs and
dinner-for-two at Woodbine Racetrack.

Eleanor McGregor, executive director for Peel Partners, said last year's
tournament raised almost $7,000 and she foresees a similar amount this year.

For those unfamiliar with glow-in-the-dark mini-golf, the course and golf
balls are coated in a special paint so, under a black light, they literally
glow.

Peel Partners For A Drug-Free Community is a non-profit organization
started in 1985 with the goal of empowering families to make responsible
choices when it comes to alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.
