CLIP WINGS OF ANGELS OF DEATH

Editor, The News:

A few days ago the Vancouver Sun carried a feature article on the
Hells Angels' plan to open a nightclub in Gastown.

The City of Vancouver says it has no power to stop them if it is a
legitimate business.

To call any business owned by the Hells Angels "legitimate" is an
insult to our collective intelligence.

Those dregs of humanity are even worse than terrorists.

They deal in death and destruction on a daily basis.

There are 6,000 drug addicts in Vancouver alone who commit 80 per cent
of auto thefts, burglaries and other crimes to support their drug habits.

The money from their criminal activities goes right back into Hells
Angels' pockets (tax free, of course).

Thus, the vicious circle continues and grows larger, at an
ever-increasing cost to the taxpayer.

Why society tolerates any kind of organized criminal activity is
beyond comprehension.

If an ordinary citizen is a few dollars short on their income tax
payment, they get a demand notice from Revenue Canada.

The Hells Angels pay no taxes on their ill-gotten gains, then buy
legitimate businesses to provide ever-expanding money laundering facilities.

Who is to blame?

Why, our justice system, supported by a government that looks the
other way.

They know that it is impossible to deal effectively with organized
criminals using the justice system we have and stubbornly refuse to
provide police with the power to seize their ill-gotten assets and
throw the scumbags in jail for a very long time.

We know what they are, who they are and what they do.

These criminals have no respect for the rules of law; they use them
and abuse them.

If they do not respect our laws, why should we safeguard and preserve
rights that give criminals safe haven from them?

We keep hearing about "the war on drugs."

It is a war, so let's deal with these Angels of death by invoking the
articles of war.

Dispense with the niceties and put these creeps out of business, using
every weapon in our arsenal - and then some! We owe it to law-abiding
citizens.
