Mississauga, Ont. -- Whatever "mellow weed" Margaret Wente's been
smoking reeks of hypocrisy (Not The Groovy '60s: Today's Cannabis Is
Harder And Meaner - June 26). The fact that today's cannabis is more
potent than the "mellow weed" she remembers from her youth is about
as significant as noting the differences between a bottle of beer and
a jar of moonshine.
We have more honest, realistic options available than the twin
scourges of hypocrisy and prohibition.
