THE POLICE AS JUDGE, JURY AND EXECUTIONERS

Since when are people fired from their jobs for assault? Other people who
have been charged and convicted of assault or more serious crimes such as
trafficking drugs and operating marijuana grow-ops rarely even spend a day
in jail, regardless of multiple convictions.

I believe that what these six officers did was stupid; many have agreed
that it was a "rookie mistake." Just because they wear a uniform doesn't
make them immune from making mistakes.

As for undermining public trust, why is that an issue? The officers did not
randomly beat up someone walking down the street. The three "victims" are
known drug dealers who have multiple criminal convictions and were warned
numerous times to stay away from the Granville Mall area.

The only people who undermine public trust are the judges who routinely
release drug dealers and pedophiles without treatment only to have them
re-offend immediately upon release. Those judges get to keep their jobs.
