JUST SAY 'NO' TO CLINICS NEAR SCHOOLS
Drug clinics are evidently necessary due to the influx of drugs and persons
addicted to these drugs. The problem is the location of these facilities.
Do we place them at the front doors of our schoolhouses? Our young people
are having enough trouble with the Standards of Learning tests and
Scholastic Assessment Tests. Don't give them this hurdle.
Everyone can sympathize with the plight of the drug addict. Why teach "just
say no" and, at the same time, place the temptation and all of its fallout
right under our young people's noses?
The moral fabric of our country has receded to a point of nonresuscitation.
When will we as a society pull up the reins and "just say no"?
