"LEADERS" WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE

Re: " 'Miracle' drug changes lives," Licia Corbella, (Dec. 7). I know
firsthand what cannabis can do for epileptic patients. My mother had grand
mal epilepsy all her life. For years it was controlled by prescription
drugs. Six years ago, her seizures started breaking through and she was
forced to quit her job and stop driving. Neurologists prescribed every drug
available before I suggested cannabis to control her seizures. My mother
was to the point of talking of suicide, but cannabis was able to stop her
seizures. One day our "leaders" will be held accountable for prosecuting
sick and dying citizens simply for trying to live free of pain and suffering.
