A Surrey man with a Health Canada exemption to possess marijuana ended up
in hospital with severe chest pains after he bought bad pot last week.
The 39-year-old thought he was having a heart attack, but it appears he
purchased product from a North Surrey drug dealer that may have been laced
with methamphetamine or crack cocaine.
A small quantity of the marijuana has been seized and forwarded to the RCMP
forensic laboratory.
Police issued a public warning after the man told officers 18 pounds of the
spiked pot is now filtering to the street.
