ADELAIDE HOUSES RAIDED IN CROSS BORDER STING
South Australian police say a cross-border operation has cracked a
significant drug ring operating out of Adelaide.
The drug and organised crime investigation branch intercepted a drug
deal at a hotel in Adelaide's eastern suburbs on Friday night.
Police seized about 20 ounces of heroin - the equivalent of between 15
and 20,000 street deals.
A man and two women were arrested.
Further raids uncovered $250,000 and a heroin press at three houses,
also in Adelaide's east.
The bust is part of an operation between South Australian police and
their Western Australian counterparts to crack down on the heroin
trade between the two states.
