NO BANDWAGON JUMPER
Regarding the proposed "New Hope" addiction-treatment centre near
Prince George, I'm not yet ready to jump on the "Praise Lorne
Mayencourt" bandwagon.
While moving away from toxic environments can be productive for
addicts, lots of them have friends and family that provide support.
I'm skeptical of Mayencourt's "ship-'em-out" plan. I think that it is
more self-serving for the government then it is to help the addicted.
