MEDIA MAKING WALKER SHOOTING WORSE

Don't get me wrong, I think the Walker mishap was tragic, not only for his
family, but the community as a whole.

It has dominated the radio, TV and newspaper until I get sick to my stomach
reading and hearing about it every day.

We live in an impatient world, but everyone wanted the GBI, FBI and
probably Saddam Hussein to investigate this, so why not let them do the job?

I've never seen so many meetings that bring in troublemakers from Atlanta,
New York and God only knows where else to stir up the community. If it is
doing any good, I'd like to know what it is. They should concentrate all
this energy on trying to clean up the community. The man from Atlanta said
he got caught up in the moment and made some remarks, later apologized
because he just got caught up in the moment.

The media is to blame for some this, dragging it on. Can't they find some
good and positive things happening in and around Columbus?

One thing I just can't understand is if the agents had been watching this
apartment for several months, or however long, for drug activity, just why
did the four men stop by and stay only for a few minutes? They have never
addressed this issue.

Why should Ralph Johnson resign? I understand the deputy is under his
control, but some apparently think the sheriff should baby sit all his
deputies. Maybe in the future each one should call every 30 minutes to
report on what they've been doing.

Let the system work and quit trying to stir up trouble. There are better
things to do with all that energy.
