IS THIS THE NEW ERA?
A few years back we heard howls of indignation from the now governing
Liberals about Glen Clark and the NDP government.
They had to go so the "New Era" could be ushered in and B.C. could
become prosperous again. Honesty and dignity needs to be restored to
B.C. politics, they said.
Are the recent RCMP raids on ministerial offices another indication of
Liberal good judgment?
Vancouver RCMP Sgt. John Ward said drug activity in B.C. has reached
"critical mass." After the RCMP raids on the B.C. legislature, he
stated in an interview on the TV news: "In general, the spread of
organized crime just in the past two years has been like a cancer on
the social and economic well-being of all British Columbians."
It's no coincidence the Liberals have been in power for two years. The
Liberals are definitely leading by example.
