FLORIDA: LIMBAUGH'S FILES TO REMAIN SEALED

The medical records of Rush Limbaugh, the radio talk show host, will remain
off-limits to prosecutors for at least 15 days more while his lawyers
pursue an appeal to seal them permanently, a judge ruled.

Mr. Limbaugh's lawyers sought the extension while they appealed the earlier
decision by Judge Jeffrey A. Winikoff of Palm Beach Circuit Court letting
prosecutors examine the files for evidence that Mr. Limbaugh had illegally
bought painkillers. Investigators seized the records last month after
finding that Mr. Limbaugh had received more than 2,000 painkillers,
prescribed by four doctors, at a pharmacy near his Palm Beach home.
