SURRENDER ... YOUR BLOOD?

I am very concerned about the new Drugged Driving Law, "Luke's Law," which
is now in affect in Wisconsin ["Expresso," Dec. 25].

The state government now expects for you to give blood when police feel
you're under the influence when driving. This is totally different from a
breathalyzer test because they are actually confiscating your
blood--something that was inside of your body--on mere speculation. After
your blood is confiscated and tested, will it be destroyed ... or stockpiled
and used for further testing?

This is a complete violation of our personal security, and it's just
completely wrong. Luke's Law is nothing more than a another erosion of our
constitutional rights.
