COPS ARE COMPELLED TO MIX WITH DIRT

RE COPS charged (Jan. 8): The Toronto Police drug squad members have
the toughest and scariest job with respect to fighting crime. We must
remember the high-risk and human performance cost they and their
families take on while in the performance of their duties. They are
compelled to mix with dirt which settles in varying degrees on these
courageous men and women and does not easily wash off. I just hope the
investigating task force has the depth of similar experience to
qualify their facts in the end.
