IN CONTEMPT
Bully for Routt County Court Judge James Garrecht for issuing contempt
citations to law enforcement officers who failed to return 2 ounces of
marijuana seized in a raid from a man who is on the state's medical
marijuana registry. Local police had no business turning the pot over
to a federal agent, and he had no business asking for it given that
the search warrant was issued by a state judge.
