BANNING POT, LIKE BOOZE, LEADS TO RAMPANT CRIME

The present situation in relation to drugs, organized crime and
corruption is exactly as it was in Canada in the 1920s and 1930s with
booze, organized crime and corruption. The production and export of
liquid drugs under the noses of corrupt government, police and the
judiciary was how some North American families as the Bronfmans got
their dynastic start.

The industrial-scale marijuana (and other drug) production and export
operations, complete with the corruption that must be supporting them,
is surely creating new millionaires. We just don't know their names
yet. Are these the people we want as our new establishment? Do we want
more companies that will, like the booze and tobacco companies, addict
our young, and corrupt our institutions?
