EDITORIAL OFF-BASE

Dear Editor:

Regarding your editorial on the Stanley Park Six, I agree they stepped
over the line and undoubtedly broke the law. I don't agree their
sentences were a "travesty of justice." I also don't agree they are
cowards.

On the contrary.

I believe those six cops have no doubt contributed far more towards
society by being police officers and will continue to, more than any
one of the drug dealers they smacked around.

As for being cowardly, how would you define all the dope pushers in
downtown Vancouver? Courageous paragons of virtue? I say "atta boy" to
the offending officers.
