DRUG WAR IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL
This is your law enforcement on drugs. ("Cop probe widens," Jan. 20.) The
drug war that is. Should anyone be surprised there is corruption in law
enforcement? Or in politics for that matter? The whole drug war is
unconstitutional and has bred contempt for the law because you can't
legislate morals. Consuming or possessing drugs isn't criminal. We've made
crimes of things that are notcrimes.
