AMERICANS SHOULD BE OUTRAGED OVER 'ZONES'

First, let me inform you that this is my first letter expressing political
dissent in this or any other public forum.

My alarm at the evolution (dissolution?) of our civil liberties as
evidenced by the confining of protesters to a First Amendment zone compels
me to write.

I would not have believed our political leaders could be serious about
confining First Amendment rights to a specific area in the name of security.

Also, forcing the protesters away from the motorcade route on Middlebrook
Pike in the name of security while allowing supporters to replace them is
equally unbelievable and alarming.

Whatever political views we hold, this is America, folks! Where is the
outrage?
