NEED TRANSPARENCY NOT CONSPIRACY

Give Me 2 More Years: Fantino

Our illustrious police chief wants his job for another two years.
Worse, he looks for a successor from among the ranks. Fantino will
perpetuate the ``wall of blue" approach. The drug bust disaster should
be enough to persuade even knee-jerk police supporters that all is not
well. Fantino continues his sanctimonious statements about his cops.
It's always ``just a few bad apples." The chief makes no reference to
the many cops who knew but kept silent. This part of police culture
must be stopped. We need transparency not conspiracy. The chief's
first obligation is to the citizens he serves, not the cops he shelters.
