RECALL CELLUCCI

RE "U.S. on alert for young pot users" (Jan. 22): Is anybody else
getting as sickened as I am by the interference into domestic Canadian
politics by Paul Cellucci? This arrogant, overbearing man obviously
has no idea of how a proper ambassador behaves, and he is a superb
example of an "ugly American."

He pays lip service to the notion that Canada is an autonomous nation,
then turns around and makes threats intended to pull Canadian domestic
policy in line with American wishes. When is our federal government
going to show some backbone and demand the recall of this boor?
