ONTARIO TO DISCUSS COMBATTING GROW HOUSES
The Ontario government and the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police will
hold a two-day conference in March to discuss ways of combatting the
growing menace posed by marijuana grow operations, Community Safety
Minister Monte Kwinter said yesterday. Federal, provincial and municipal
police forces and representatives of electricity and water utilities, which
often unknowingly supply power and water to the grow houses, will be invited.
