IMMORALITY: CITIZENS MUST STAND UP FOR DECENCY

Hollywood stars routinely use illegal drugs and overuse alcohol with the
resultant role model effect on our children.

Hollywood trivializes the old-fashioned concept of sexual discrimination,
marriage and virtually all other mores that once defined our morality.

Now we have Madonna, Britney Spears, and Janet Jackson raising the assault
on decency by an order of magnitude.

The Hollywood establishment is only too happy to provide them encouragement
and screen time during hours that children will be watching programs.
Hollywood simply doesn't care that your children are subjected to this kind
of indecency.

Most Americans are totally unaware that the Muslim hatred of America stems
from our indecency and the increasing effect American culture is having on
the rest of the world, in general, and Muslims, in particular.

Muslims don't see any way to fight the creeping amoral American influence
besides terrorism. What a price for Americans to pay for letting Hollywood
dictate our morality.

Regarding Jackson's Super Bowl performance, it is totally preposterous to
believe that there was a "wardrobe malfunction" or that CBS and NFL
executives were unaware of the planned program.

Can it be true that Bernie Ebbers and Ken Lay really didn't know that their
companies were committing multibillion-dollar securities fraud? Of course not!

I think that the Federal Communications Commission should listen to the
Americans who were outraged by the Super Bowl performance.

The FCC should suspend CBS' broadcast license for a few days as a warning
that we are drawing the line on Hollywood-promoted indecency.

For its part, I would like to see the National Football League fined
several million dollars as a warning that advertisers cannot simply claim
ignorance of the programming they are paying for.

For outraged Americans, boycott CBS, the NFL and corporate sponsors.
Boycott MTV and the stars who provide the rubbish.

If Americans don't stand up for decency, we will continue and accelerate
our slide into immorality.
