POSTERS GET WOMEN IN TROUBLE
Two women were arrested last Thursday for making and displaying posters
endangering the life of an OPP officer, Barrie police say.
One of the women arrested is the officer's wife.
The poster, which labelled the man as a "rat," contained a photo of
the 43-year-old officer, his address, phone number, employer and
vehicle licence.
The poster said the officer was a police informant for the OPP and
that he provided police with information that led to the discovery of
the massive marijuana grow operation at the former Molson brewery in
Barrie.
A 41-year-old woman is charged with mischief endangering life and
obstructing police. A 37-year-old Orillia woman was also arrested and
charged with mischief endangering life and obstructing police.
